Lately as part of the whole Warhammer frenzy I’ve been going through, I’ve been reading throught some 40K and I have definately found another author to add to my list of priorities. Sandy Mitchell’s Ciaphas Cain has become one of my new heroes.

A selfish, cynical commissar in service of his emperor that somehow always manages to turn the tides of war in his favor. His aide, Jurgen is also another really well thought out character, a psychic ‘blank’ with body odour that could match an orks.
