I probably missed out some pretty interested talks by Massive Black’s Jason Manley and Leah Hoyer’s “Creating Creativity: Establishing an Environment for Innovation and Ideas”. The food was good and it was great seeing some familiar faces.

There he lay lurking and awaiting the unsuspecting Green Pigs to emerge from the nearby building.

It’s not the major papers or a syndication but I’m now commission to do a regular fortnightly comic panel for Niagaone, a Malaysian Entrepreneur Resource Center focused on helping start-ups through rough patches.

While not fantabulous source of income, it has given me a new perspective on writing funny panels and the other dynamics of drawing a comic. I find single panel comics are much more difficult to write than regular 3 or more panel comics. The comic is centered around business and start-ups (like the website) so if anyone has any good ideas, do help a hapless artist out.
