Oreos
Manufacturing Demand is something I've been looking into lately and upon seeing Kraft Food's Oreo bits, I'm certain this is a prime example. Whether intentionally or not, Oreos found their way into a lot of other things besides just a glass of warm milk. Oreo cheesecake, Oreo McFlurries to name a few. With the demand for Oreos in place, Kraft managed to repackage their defective cookies as crushed Oreo bits. It is pure genius. Not only does it reduce wastage but also increases sales revenue! How often do you kill two birds like that?
Disgusting
Lately heard this interview over a podcast about the ever entertaining Obedient Wives Club which has been making small waves in the headlines.

Women who want to subject themselves to such practices in order to enter Heaven? Where is your self-respect??? These people are being manipulated by their sex-crazed husbands that indoctrinate them into no longer thinking for themselves and following the writings of holy scripture without critically examining their actions or implications.
And what's worse,.. Dr Azlina is a doctor and in a position to advice her patients on their conduct... the thought is mind-boggling and frightening at the same time.
It is this very sort of thing that would bring about the rise of religious fundamentalism (blind-faith) for the next step to not questioning your husbands, would be not questioning your religious leaders,... which would lead to the possibility of a religious crack-job one day ordering their congregate to arm themselves and purge the world of infidels. The breakdown in challenging an order that does not make sense only leads to blind subservience to whoever is currently waving the holy book around espousing absolute reverence.
No wonder so many wives keep silent when their husbands decide to turn their lust onto their family members.... Its a horrible manipulative control game and it disgusts me to see such things in what I hoped was a secular nation.
Coliseum KL
Went to that OOooold place Coliseum in KL for a nice quiet dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Prices still a little pricey but the place still looks as charming as it ever did and it still smells like sizzling steak after all these years.

Don't really wanna take pictures, just wanna eat... nom noms
