Its quite a change seeing a University College run a Sports Day but a change for the better. It was nice to see the students focused on coming together and working on achieving something. More importantly they've come together and volunteered to participate without coercion. That itself has been a massive eye-opener for me. Students want activities, they want something outside academia. Hopefully future plans can include something to cater to that need.

Despite a product's apparent effectiveness, nothing can persuade someone to buy anything without adequate packaging beforehand. Here's a local toothpaste brand that contains Sodium Monofluorophospate which I gather comes from Sea Cucumbers. For good or ill, I have no clue and will never venture to buy such a poorly packaged product.

What amazes me is the fact that the company stuck such a horrible rendition of a Sea Cucumber on the box. Sea cucumbers have never been attractive to begin with, but to be convinced that such a horrible picture would help you with branding the product there would need to be much more than that.

Nokia N9 launch... pretty nifty device. Not in anyway close to being an iPhone killer but maybe when the right OS comes along. Didn't care too much for the cheesy Parkour Ninja exhibition though. Backflips should not equate Parkour... and the entire display was merely distracting. On the bright side, at least there weren't any b-boys around.
