Manufacturing Demand is something I’ve been looking into lately and upon seeing Kraft Food’s Oreo bits, I’m certain this is a prime example. Whether intentionally or not, Oreos found their way into a lot of other things besides just a glass of warm milk. Oreo cheesecake, Oreo McFlurries to name a few. With the demand for Oreos in place, Kraft managed to repackage their defective cookies as crushed Oreo bits. It is pure genius. Not only does it reduce wastage but also increases sales revenue! How often do you kill two birds like that?
