“A powerful earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale hit southern Sumatra at about 6.17pm, causing tremors all the way in peninsula Malaysia.”

Freakishly frightening as a meeting was being held at the time of the tremors. Fortunately we’re still safe but I can’t imagine what its like for the people in Sumatra.
