Metrojaya coughed up a RM10 voucher which led to me and YY buying ourselves each a Keroro Gunsou model set. I got the keroro mecha while she got a Giroro model and we spent an afternoon putting them together. It wasn’t easy. There were tons of little plastic bits which we had to assemble as well as tiny stickers to paste on. It was tough especially when you have sausage fingers like I do.

The mecha had totally pose-able joints and a little detachable ship. It’s gun and shield were interchangeable and… well it was totally awesome. Metrojaya had them on sale but the normal price was about RM26 per box model.
I personally thought it wasn’t all THAT expensive especially when compared to some of the other stuff on sale. I saw some stiff ugly superhero figurines that were going for RM80 and above. I find that really ridiculous. Aren’t toys for kids? How are any kids going to save up their pocketmoney and buy an action-figure when they all cost so obnoxiously much?

Giroro had a little problems with his mouth but he had changeable hands and feet. Even his eyes could change! Damn the Japanese are masters of the model building world. YY managed to beat me at assembling her Giroro but I blame it all on my sausage fingers! It was an unfair advantage and I insist on a rematch.

I’m definately thinking about collecting the set.
